Mediation

Helping resolve conflict as a third-party neutral.

"Discourage Litigation.  Persuade your neighbors to compromise whenever you can."

 Abraham Lincoln

inclusive

The inclusive model of mediation helps ensure each party's voice is fully heard and that the solutions are developed by the parties themselves in open dialog.

collaborative

When the parties can benefit from an outsider's perspective to help craft win-win scenarios, the mediator can help shape a balanced agreement based on the underlying interests of each party.

evaluative

If the parties to a conflict seek an independent assessment of the merits of their positions, an evaluative mediator can weigh in and provide a binding or non-binding opinion.

Abraham has been trained as mediator locally and internationally in each of the different styles noted.  Having a trained mediator on your side can be very helpful when you go into a mediation process.  In many meditations, the parties are each represented by their own counsel.

Alternatively, both parties may choose to select Abraham to serve as a third-party neutral mediator for their dispute.

Oh, and not to argue with Lincoln, but "mediation" does not always have to mean "compromise."  In many cases, a skilled mediator can bring out the underlying interests of the parties to get real a win-win.
